I've been drawn to the fact, that certain games survived empires, etc. Some games don't need a language to be played, just pick up a board, put some pieces, and then play.
I think interactive media/games have a very strong power to persuade, since some video games I play really tend to make people emotional. One example would be the telltale games of the walking dead, where people had to choose a character called, lee, who was bitten by a zombie, kill him, or let him be reanimated as a zombie. This made players worldwide struggle what decision too make as we saw him through not through his journey, but we also played his character, and had to make heavy decisions. Too decide his fate, is very heart breaking, as said again, we played him, and learned his backstory, before the actual events of the game. Games, especially video games, tend to have more power, to persuade since we are just relaxing at home gaming.
